Construction

We can do as little or as much of your project as you want. From tower work only to a complete turn-key job. We have the experience and equipment to do foundation work for the tower and equipment buildings. We can do the civil work including site preparation, road construction, stone work and fencing. We can also do the electrical grounding grid necessary for either communication towers or AM radio arrays.

We have erected towers directly for manufacturers such as UNR Rohn, Pirod, Andrew, Fort Worth Tower and Stainless. We have erected many other brands supplied by the customer such as Swager, Advance Valmont monopoles, EEI monopoles and Summit. We would also entertain bids on any other brands that are available.

Our specialty is cellular communication towers but we have erected self supporting towers as tall as 500 feet and guyed towers as tall as 1000 feet.

Maintenance

In addition to our erection business, Grant Tower, Inc. offers a vast array of other services including: emergency maintenance, structural modification, antenna and line installation or changes, painting, guy wire coating, relamping, strobe repair, routine maintenance and inspection, complete foundation installation, testing and sweeping and complete structural analysis.

We have invested thousands of hours (and dollars) in developing a routine maintenance program for our clients. We currently maintain over 1200 tower on an annual basis. We have written special computer programs that store an extensive amount of information about each tower. The customer receives a detailed computer generated report on each tower that includes a separate section for: anchors, antennas, transmission lines, guy wires, lighting, painting and the tower plumb and twist report.  Also, in each report is a page of notes for a quick review of tower condition, digital photographs showing problems or items that will require further attention, a completed maintenance report detailing all of the charges.

There is a suggested maintenance list showing budgetary pricing for all recommended repairs. These repairs are divided into priorities. If we discover a priority one item we will call you to determine the course of action. Any priority two items we recommend be taken care of in the next (30) days to prevent any additional damage to your site or equipment. Priority three items can be taken care of at the next regularly scheduled inspection. Priority four items are things that we notice will need to be taken care of in the near future. Priority five is used to give you an estimated amount of material and labor that will be required for a more extensive repair that will require additional resources and a special trip.

We not only perform the labor but if you prefer we can supply material. That material would include but not be limited to concrete and rebar, tower steel, equipment shelters, antennas and transmission line and any related grounding materials. We have the necessary equipment such as, fork lifts, cranes, dump truck , excavators and a semi. We also have a complete line of inventory from which to fulfill material orders. We have negotiated lucrative buying contracts with suppliers which allows us to be very competitive when supplying material. We also would be happy to warehouse your material for you at no additional cost.
